LPS Scratch Day – May 12

Scratch is a visual programming language and online community targeted primarily at children. Using Scratch, users create their own interactive stories, games and animations, then share and discuss their creations with one another.

Do you love to play and create with Scratch? Sign up to attend the first LPS Scratch Day Event! Come to participate in fun Scratch activities with your friends. Students grades 3-8 can choose from four workshops or an exploration room with hand-on activities. Workshop #1 runs from 10:00 am-11:00 am and workshop #2 runs from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.

This event is free — but there are limited seats. Sign up today! Students must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian. Parents do not need a ticket — just the student(s) that are participating. Parents, please plan to stay with your child for both workshops.
